coming soon to planet earth
A new multipurpose performance art space is springing up in scenic Pakchong, abutting onto the beautiful Khao Yai National Park. It’s the first installment of what will become a new center of exciting creativity for Thailand. The brainchild of Premika Sucharitkul, sister of the well-known novelist and composer, this is a multidimensional, dynamic space that can do everything from a chamber opera to a book fair, from an art market to a symphony concert. Located two hours from Bangkok, Somtow’s World is located near resorts and restaurants and events there are planned to take advantage of the national park’s numerous visitor facilities.
In October 2018, a ceremony took place to lay the foundation stone and erect the first pillar of Somtow’s World.
