MAHLER'S NINTH from SURYADHEP

Thailand's adventurous youth orchestra, the Siam Sinfonietta, plays Mahler Nine at the new state of the art concert hall, the Suryadhep Music Sala, in Rangsit University.

This is only the second performance of Mahler 9 in Thailand, and the first by a youth orchestra. The first performance was by the Siam Philharmonic in 2009, also conducted by Somtow Sucharitkul. This concert was the first use of the new Suryadhep Music Sala in Rangsit for a major classical concert.
