Somtow gave an impromptu narration of Wagner's Ring Cycle in Thai at a music camp a couple of years ago. Although not intended to be funny per se, it is pretty amusing.
Somtow gave an impromptu telling of the story of the entire RING CYCLE in Thai, accompanying himself on the piano. Challenged to squeeze the story into an hour, he managed 58 minutes.
